Agentic Dashboard
An agentic dashboard is a shift from a passive, click-and-scroll display to an active system driven by AI agents. Instead of hunting through tabs and compiling information by hand, the dashboard can execute tasks, answer questions in plain language, and build or change its own layout as you go.
Major platforms, including Tableau, Databricks AI/BI, and fintech systems like Razorpay, use agentic dashboards for four jobs.
1. Automated conversational business intelligence
You do not have to memorize where the data lives or how to set a filter. You ask in ordinary language.
- Ad-hoc exploration. You can ask, “Why did our sales dip in Texas last Tuesday?” The agent reads the question, looks through the data, and returns a specific answer.
- Follow-ups that remember context. Unlike a chatbot that resets every session, the dashboard keeps the active filters and the last question, so you can go deeper one step at a time.
- No-code authoring. You can say, “Turn this insight into a line graph and pin it to my main screen.” The agent writes the recipe and adds the chart.
2. Multi-step workflows and transactions
A traditional dashboard only lets you look. An agentic dashboard lets you act from the same screen.
- Operational actions. In a fintech dashboard such as Razorpay’s, a merchant can type “Refund transaction #12345” and skip a five-step click path.
- Customer follow-up. An agent can find a group, such as people who left items in a cart, and you can send them a payment link from one prompt.
3. Visibility on AI search
As shoppers ask ChatGPT and Gemini instead of a search box, commerce dashboards such as Shopify’s Agentic Dashboard help a store see whether those agents mention it.
- AI search optimization. See which plain-language prompts, such as “stylish lightweight raincoat,” surface your products.
- Rank by place and category. Filter how the store ranks on AI marketplaces and in retail categories, then adjust the catalog so AI crawlers can read it.
4. Governed data modeling
The dashboard can turn raw data into a checked answer without a developer in the middle of every question.
- A shared definition of the numbers. Tools such as Astrato’s Nash AI answer from a company’s validated model instead of guessing a SQL query. That keeps the same metric from meaning two different things.
- Less hand-built chart code. Engineers spend less time repairing visualization formulas, because the agent works on the data stack directly.
How this fits agentic NFTs
Pair the dashboard with agentic NFTs — tokens bound to agents that can hold a wallet, hold funds, and do work — and the screen stops being only a company chart. It becomes mission control for a fleet of onchain agents.
The NFT is not only a picture. It can stand for a worker you can fund, instruct, and watch. The dashboard is where you do that.
1. Identity and fleet control
Standards such as ERC-8004 turn the NFT into a public identity for the agent.
- See what you own. Connect a wallet and the dashboard reads the chain, loads the agentic NFTs in that wallet, and puts those agents on the screen.
- Mint from the dashboard. Ask it to create a new agentic NFT. It can compute the contract address, deploy the code, and mint the token to your wallet.
- Revoke or re-key. If an agent is misbehaving, or its key is exposed, one prompt can change the public key or cut off its access.
2. Wallets and spending limits
Agentic NFTs can sit on wallet frameworks such as TON’s Agentic Wallet or Binance Agent OS. The dashboard is the bookkeeping screen for that fleet.
- Fund them. See each agent’s balance, then send stablecoins, gas, or other NFTs to that wallet.
- Cap what they can spend. Set a daily limit or a rule for what the wallet may buy, instead of handing an agent the whole treasury.
3. A live activity feed
These agents trade, post, and call contracts while you are away. The dashboard is how you see what they did.
- One timeline per agent. Logs and data pipes show what that NFT has been doing.
- Plain-language transactions. A model can turn raw swaps, mints, and contract calls into a feed a person can read.
4. Directing more than one agent
The same chat box can hand work to several NFTs, the way a manager hands work to a team.
- A shared task. You might type, “Have Agent NFT #45 check the dataset from Agent NFT #12.”
- Across chains. The dashboard can route a command so an Ethereum agent works with one on Solana or Base, including the bridge, without you doing that by hand.
Passive dashboard versus an agentic NFT dashboard
| Feature | Passive NFT dashboard | Agentic NFT dashboard |
|---|---|---|
| Data flow | Read-only. Floor price, charts, and the picture. | Both ways. It shows what the agent is doing, and it can tell the agent to act. |
| What the token is | A collectible. Proof you own a file or a pass. | An identity. An onchain worker with its own wallet. |
| How you control it | You sign every action in the wallet by hand. | You set the rules. The NFT acts for you inside those rules. |
| What the charts show | What already happened in a market. | What the agent is doing now, and what it is likely to do next. |
